A picture is so much more than a picture. In the event of capturing a moment in time and focusing on one thing...literally, consider everything that isn't in the photo. That says as much about a photograph as about the person who took it.

There are an infinite number of things an artist is saying and not saying in a picture. Is a picture worth a thousand words? No. There are no limits to the number of words that a picture is worth. The truth is that most pictures are probably worth far less than 1K of words. But we are often ill-equipped to judge someone else' s view point without a healthy dose of empathy.
